On 30 November 2023, GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd. (GCLSI, 002506.SZ), a leading renewable energy service provider, announced the achievement of a maximal conversion efficiency of 26.17% for its perovskite tandem module sized 278mm x 370mm, as confirmed by China National Institute of Metrology.

The company is pleased to note that the new high record marks the beginning of the development of perovskite tandem modules, which exhibit significantly greater conversion efficiency than that of crystalline silicon panels.

Having surpassed the conversion efficiency threshold of 18% on 1000mm×2000mm single-junction modules, GCLSI is now confident in upgrading the size and efficiency of solar modules to 26% on 1000mm×2000mm based on its latest achievement.
