On 13 May 2023, Anhui Ruijing Electronic Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Reesun), started the first phase of its TOPCon solar cell and BIPV module project in Anhui Province, China.
The project aims to achieve a production capacity of 10GW of TOPCon solar cells and 5GW of BIPV modules, with a total investment of 8.2 billion yuan. In the first phase, 12 automated production lines will be set up to produce 6GW of n-type TOPcon solar cells, and will be operational in early 2024, with an estimated annual sales volume of no less than 6 billion yuan and an annual tax payment of approximately 200 million yuan. In the second phase, it is planned to produce 4GW of n-type TOPCon cells and 5GW of BIPV modules. And the whole project is expected to reach an annual production value of 10 billion yuan, while creating more than 1,200 jobs when operational.
