JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. (JA Solar)(002459.SZ), a leading manufacturer of high-performance photovoltaic products, disclosed on 11 August 2023 that its n-type cell production capacity will exceed 50GW by the end of 2023.

JA Solar has been steadily increasing the production capacity of n-type cells and expects to reach about 46GW by the end of the third quarter of 2023. Additionally, 10GW of n-type cell projects are currently under construction. Moreover, the production capacity of TOPCon is expected to reach full production by the end of the third or fourth quarter.

JA Solar is pleased to better meet the market demand through the increased production capacity and delivery volume, as raw material prices have remained stable since July 2023.

Furthermore, based on overseas market data, the company has a positive outlook in the sales volume of n-type products in the second half of 2023, as TOPCon delivery is comparatively higher than that of p-type products.
