Automobile Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd. has submitted a registration application for the trademark “Yang Jian” for its self-developed chip. CEO William Li announced at the 2023 Innovation Technology Day that the company’s first self-developed chip, named “Yang Jian” in Chinese, will be mass-produced in October. This chip will be the industry’s first self-developed laser radar control chip.

The registration application for “Yang Jian” was submitted on September 21, 2023, according to the Trademark Office of the National Intellectual Property Administration. The trademark is classified under scientific instruments and is currently awaiting substantive examination.

It is worth noting that the trademark application for “Yang Jian” includes multiple subcategories, such as computer software, chatbot software for simulated conversations, central processing units (CPUs), software facilitating human-computer interaction, AI-based interactive software, smart glasses (data processing), operating system programs, and interactive computer systems. This suggests that Automobile Technology (Anhui) Co., Ltd. is preparing to use the name “Yang Jian” in other fields as well.

‘s Yang Jian chip features an 8-core CPU with 8 sampling channels and a 9-bit sampling depth. It has a sampling rate of 1GHz and claims to reduce power consumption by 50% and latency by 30%. The chip is capable of processing 8 million points per second.

The “Yang Jian” chip aims to achieve faster functional response through the optimization of point cloud processing delay. It has a point cloud processing capacity of 8 million points per second and can simultaneously receive raw data and point cloud data, providing improved data closed-loop iteration for the entire system.
