Beijing, May 6 (Youth.cn) -Recently, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has released the list of a new batch of green manufacturing for 2022, which is the seventh batch since China launched the green manufacturing system selection. Up to now, China has basically constructed a green manufacturing system.
To date, China has established 3,616 green factories, 267 green industrial parks and 403 green supply chain management enterprises at the national level. Nearly 30,000 green products have been promoted, and the green manufacturing system has been continuously strengthened.
Sheng Zhaoxun, director of strategic policy office, Chinese Academy of Macroeconomic Research said that green manufacturing is a modern manufacturing mode, which is characterized by low consumption, low emission, high efficiency and high benefit. Promoting the construction of a green manufacturing system is an important part of building a modern industrial system.
Industry is an important area to achieve the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality". Since 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has selected a green manufacturing list annually at the national, provincial and municipal levels to speed up the construction of a green manufacturing system.
Huang Libin, director of the energy conservation and comprehensive utilization department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that by creating green factories, developing green products, building green industrial parks, and constructing green supply chains, China actively promotes the green and low-carbon transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, vigorously develops green and low-carbon industries, and continuously improves the efficiency of energy and resource utilization and the level of clean production.
Today, green factories and green industrial parks are emerging, which are supporting the fundamentals of China's green manufacturing. In a green factory in Hefei, Anhui, more than 8,000 orders are processed on average every day, and 80% of the orders are customized needs with less than 5 units per order. With different configurations, the production lines need to be frequently replaced, but as observed by reporters on-site, the energy consumption of the entire factory not only did not increase but also decreased significantly.
Ding Xiaohui, head of the Lenovo Group's industrial base in Hefei, said that "we use artificial intelligence and some big data analysis methods, and it only takes one to two minutes for a single scheduling. Two years ago, it took six hours. The carbon emissions of a computer have decreased by 49%."
In the green industrial park in Chengdu, Sichuan, more than 10,000 sensors distributed throughout the park are monitoring the energy consumption and emission indicators of every corner in real-time. On this production line, the carbon footprint of every product can be verified. Currently, the proportion of green and low-carbon industries in the park has reached nearly 90%, and the proportion of green electricity has exceeded 70%.
Jiang Kanghui, deputy director of the industrial development department of Huaizhou New City Management Committee in Chengdu, stated that for newly-entered companies, they have set strict standards for CO2 emissions to limit high-energy consumption and high-emission projects from entering the park.
This year, China's energy and resource utilization efficiency has continued to improve. Currently, the energy consumption level of green factories is generally better than the energy efficiency benchmark level, and the average disposal and utilization rate of solid waste in green industrial parks exceeds 95%.
China's green supply capacity has significantly increased. In the first quarter of this year, China's solar cell and new energy vehicle production increased by 53.2% and 22.5%, respectively.
The effect of industrial structure adjustment is significant. In the first quarter of this year, investment in high-tech industries in China increased by 16% year-on-year, and advanced manufacturing continued to develop and grow. The construction of a green manufacturing system is driving the collaborative transformation of the industrial chain and supply chain, adding new impetus to China's high-quality economic development.
