China Rare Earth Group Co vowed on Thursday to strictly follow China's rare earth export control regulations and carry out work in line with the country's laws and regulations in the fourth quarter,according to a meeting on the company's operations.

The company said that it will step up efforts to fully stabilize production and ensure supply,strengthen state-owned enterprise reform to enhance governance capabilities,strive for scientific and technological innovations to enhance development momentum,boost implementation of projects for accelerated development,and enhance risk prevention and control to hold the bottom line of development,according to a statement on company's official WeChat account on Thursday.

China Rare Earth Group Co primarily engages in rare earth resource exploration,smelting and separation,deep processing,and rare earth product import and export trade,according to an introduction on the company's website.

The company has extensive operations in regions including East China's Jiangxi Province,South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Southwest China's Sichuan Province,and other countries and regions including countries in Southeast Asia,the company's information showed.

Recently,the Ministry of Commerce and General Administration of Customs announced multiple new rare earth-related export control measures in a move to better maintain national security and interests while better carrying out the country's international non-proliferation obligations.
