1. Developed by Chinese CRRC, the first auto-pilot bus in France entered official service in Val-de-Marne, as announced by the CRRC on Saturday. The bus is equipped with an AI system that allows the driver to take control of the bus in case of emergencies. In 2024, CRRC plans to provide 3 intelligent buses for routes in Paris.
2. Recently, China's leading hydrogen production and transportation solution provider Guofuhee announced it will cooperate with RCT Group to build a hydrogen energy equipment production and manufacturing base in Germany. The two parties will jointly build a 1GW hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing base in Brandenburg by the end of 2026.
3. Statistics released by the Korea International Trade Association showed that from January to August 2023, South Korea's imports of electric vehicle batteries from China increased by 114.6% year-on-year, with the import value reaching US$4.47 billion, according to Yonhap News Agency on Oct. 8.
4. The T15E series battery-powered tourist bus from the Chinese brand Yutong received a double award, both the "Label of Design Excellence" and the "Label of Ecological Excellence," from Busworld Europe on Saturday, at the biennial trade show in Brussels, Belgium.
5. Recently, Tesla announced that it will set up a new Tesla Center with over 8,000 square meters of space in Xin Park, Shanghai. Scheduled to open in mid-2024, it will be the largest all-in-one Tesla Center in China, integrating model display, test drive, after-sales maintenance and other functions.

7. Trina Solar just released a statement stating that they are expecting a net profit of CNY 4.563 billion to CNY 5.577 billion in the first three quarters of 2023. This represents an increase of 89.94% to 132.15% YoY, as compared to the same period last year.
8. Saudi Arabia's Minister for Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said on Sunday that the first hydrogen train in the Middle East will begin trials next week. The minister also said that Saudi Arabia will be launching a "credible, transparent and adaptable domestic market mechanism" on Monday, without elaborating.
9. LONGi, the leading global solar technology company, and the German energy service provider enercity are entering into a strategic partnership to supply Hi-MO 6 modules for a total of 12,000 single-family home roofs in the German end customer market, LONGI announced today. LONGi has thus reached another milestone in the introduction of the Hi-MO 6 module into the European market.
10. According to the China Passenger Car Association on Oct. 8, wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicle manufacturers in China are estimated to be 830,000 units in September 2023, up 23% YoY and 4% MoM. Preliminary estimates indicate that the cumulative wholesale volume from January to September 2023 is 5.92 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 36%.
