1. Nio refuted reports that the Chinese EV maker will share its battery-swapping network with Mercedes-Benz's next-generation EVs, Caijing.com reported. Nio said earlier that it would add 1,000 battery swapping stations in China to bring the total to 2,300 by year-end.
2. Li Auto (HK: 02015) released its financial report for the second quarter of 2023 on Tuesday. Its revenue was RMB 28.65 bln, a year-on-year increase of 228.1%; its vehicle gross profit rate was 21.0%; its total vehicle deliveries were 86,533, up 201.6% year-on-year.

7. PetroChina's first large-scale renewable hydrogen production project - the demonstration project of hydrogen production in the Yumen Oilfield started construction today. The first phase will build a 30MW photovoltaic power station and 2 sets of hydrogen production stations, with an annual hydrogen production capacity of 2,100 tons.

According to the new energy vehicle promotion plan released today by Hainan Province, by 2025, Hainan Province will promote more than 500,000 NEVs, and the proportion of newly added NEVs will exceed 60%. By 2030, the province will promote more than 1.5 mln NEVs, and it will account for more than 45% of the total.
