1. CATL is partnering with Vivo to develop a new battery for the Vivo X100 series, according to Cailian Press. The battery is said to have a higher energy density and faster charging speed than previous Vivo batteries.
2. China's first ultra-high-temperature (214℃) and ultra-high-pressure (94MPa) offshore gas field platform, Ledong 10-1 with a total reserve of 18 bln m3, finished installation in the South China Sea, expected to see a peak annual output of nearly 600 mln m3 upon operation.

8. Chinese electric truck maker Windrose Technology Inc. has started preparatory work for an initial public offering in the US next year as it plans the commercial rollout of its first vehicle. 10. On Nov. 3, Voyah, the premium division of Chinese state-owned automaker Dongfeng Motor Corporation, announced a strategic cooperation agreement with CATL. According to the agreement, Voyah will work with CATL to promote the application of Shenxing super-fast charging battery in its cars.
