1. China's largest commercial underground oil reserve project started construction Sat in Zhejiang. The project, including 3 mln m3 of underground crude oil caverns & ground facilities, will supply crude oil to areas in E China & along the Yangtze River upon its completion in 2026.
2. China's largest operational onshore wind power base started full-capacity electricity generation Sunday in N China's Inner Mongolia. The 3-mln-kW project will generate 10 bln+ kWh of electricity yearly, cutting standard coal use by 2.96 mln tons & CO2 emissions by 8.02 mln tons.
3. Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, China's 1st self-developed nuclear power plant, has generated about 800 billion kWh of electricity as of Friday since it started operation in Dec 1991. Located in E China's Zhejiang, it can generate about 52 billion kWh of electricity per year.
4. China has 1.64 mln NEVs in commercial operation, including about 540,000 buses, 300,000 taxis, and 800,000 urban-delivery vans, a senior transport official said Fri, adding that 94% of the country's total expressway service centers have built charging facilities so far.
5. China's largest commercial underground oil reserve project, backed by China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), has started construction in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang Province, according to media reports on Saturday. The Daxie commercial oil reserve, designed with a capacity of 3 million cubic meters, will receive a total investment of nearly 3 billion yuan ($420 million). It is scheduled to be completed by 2026, China Energy News reported.
6. WeRide obtained the M1 and T1 License for autonomous vehicles from the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, the Chinese developer of self-driving technology said today. WeRide became the first firm globally to hold autonomous driving permits in China, the US, the UAE, and Singapore, it added.
7. The cumulative output of its pyroschist 6-2HF well in Fuling shale gas field exceeded 400 million cubic meters, the highest cumulative output for a well of shale gas field in China, creating a new benchmark for the development benefit of shale gas in China, SINOPEC CORP announced.

On December 11, according to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in November, my country's power battery installed capacity was 44.9GWh, a year-on-year increase of 31.0%. Among them, the installed volume of ternary batteries was 15.7GWh, accounting for 35.0% of the total installed volume, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%; the installed volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 29.1GWh, accounting for 64.9% of the total installed volume, a year-on-year increase of 26.0%.
9. According to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance, in November, China's power battery installed capacity was 44.9GWh, up 31.0% YoY. Among them, the installed volume of ternary batteries was 15.7GWh, accounting for 35.0% of the total installed volume, up 42.4% YoY; the installed volume of lithium iron phosphate batteries was 29.1GWh, accounting for 64.9% of the total installed volume, up 26.0% YoY.
10. According to the China Automotive Power Battery Industry Innovation Alliance released data. In November, China's total power and energy storage battery production was 87.7 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 40.7%. From January to November 2023, China's total cumulative output of power and energy storage batteries was 698.7 GWh, a cumulative year-on-year increase of 41.6%.
