1. The Kenhardt power station, South Africa's largest photovoltaic energy storage power station supported by BYD Energy Storage, is now announced operational. The station is located in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. With a capacity of 540 MW and a battery storage capacity of 1.14GWh, the project delivers 150MW of renewable energy daily.

Russian natural gas exports to China via Power of Siberia 1 pipeline will exceed 22.5 billion cubic metres (bcm) this year, Alexei Miller, the head of state-owned energy giant Gazprom said on Thursday.
