1. The world's largest 270,000-m3 LNG tank group finished construction on Sunday in E China's Jiangsu, marking the full completion of China's largest LNG reserve base. The base with six 270,000-m3 tanks and four 220,000-m3 tanks can process 6 million tons of LNG a year upon operation.
2. Xiaomi Auto delivered more than 10,000 SU7 last month and will strive to deliver 10,000 more this month, the EV arm of Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi said on Weibo today. Xiaomi Auto delivered 7,058 units in April and 8,630 ones in May.

Jiujiang Petrochemical is seeking to create the "most beautiful riverside" by achieving zero emissions of pollutants from vessels on the Yangtze River mainline, aiming to restore the ecological environment of the Yangtze River. Products from Jiujiang Petrochemical are directly transported via docks to various provinces and cities along the Yangtze River, contributing to the energy supply of the Yangtze Economic Belt.
4. A 220kV power transmission and transformation project in Hotan Prefecture, NW China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was completed on Saturday. The project consists of one 220kV substation and 560 towers. The highest tower stands 5,390 meters above sea level.
5. The No.1 unit of Taipingling Nuclear Power Plant, the 1st nuclear power unit using the homegrown 3rd-generation Hualong one nuclear reactor in south China's Greater Bay Area, has kicked off its 45-day hot functional test in Guangdong, a step closer to its operation in early 2025.

The World Bank approved 650 million U.S. dollars to help Bangladesh invest in infrastructure critical for developing the Bay Terminal deep seaport, a mega project in the country's southeastern Chattogram region. The Bay Terminal would significantly improve Bangladesh's global trade competitiveness and reduce import and export costs by increasing port operational efficiency and mobilizing private investment, said the lender on Friday.
7. In the world's 1st, China started the large-scale commercial operation of a 100MW/200MWh sodium-ion energy storage station's Phase I project on Sunday in Hubei. The 50MW/100MWh project can store 100,000-kWh power on a single charge to supply 12,000 households a day at peak demand.
8. China's state-owned CHN Energy Investment Group has announced a significant achievement in its new energy installed capacity. According to the company, by the end of June, CHN Energy's total new energy installed capacity reached 100 million kilowatts, passing a remarkable milestone in its efforts to shift towards cleaner energy sources.

Huawei has cut the official selling price of its Tesla FSD (Full Self-Driving) like package by nearly 17%, which could have a significant impact on pricing in the sector, as the Chinese tech giant is seen as one of the strongest players in the smart driving space. The standard price for a one-time purchase of Huawei's ADS (Advanced Driving System) premium feature package is RMB 30,000 ($4,130) for the period from July 1 to December 31, down RMB 6,000, or 16.67%, from the previous RMB 36,000, Huawei announced yesterday.
10. Xpeng delivered 10,668 vehicles in June, up 23.76% year-on-year and up 5.14% from May. In the second quarter, Xpeng delivered 30,207 vehicles, an increase of 30.17% year-on-year and 38.43% from the first quarter.
