1. Countless photovoltaic panels have been installed on the mountaintops of Ruicheng County, N China's Shanxi Province, as part of the county's endeavor to promote sustainable energy. The yearly clean energy generation of Ruicheng in 2022 totaled 2.031 billion kWh, according to People's Daily.
2. China has exported a new nuclear power unit to Pakistan, according to the China National Nuclear Corporation. Unit 5 of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant (C-5) broke ground recently, marking another milestone in Nuclear Energy cooperation between China and Pakistan.
3. World's first hydrogen-powered autonomous rail rapid transit train (ART) left its manufacturing base in Zhuzhou, central China's Hunan on Friday, ready for shipment to Malaysia as the first batch of China-made ART export to southeast Asia, according to People's Daily.
4. Xiluodu hydropower station in SW China, the world’s 4th-largest one, welcomed Sat the 10th anniversary of its 1st generating unit being operational. The station with a total installed capacity of 13.86 mln kW generated 560.225 kWh as of Wed, cutting CO2 emissions by 462 mln tonnes.
5. July 16 was the second anniversary of China's national carbon market. As of July 14, the transaction volume of carbon emission allowances on the market reached 239.9 million tons, or CNY11 billion (USD1.5 billion), data from the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange showed.

10. The World's First 100MW Flexible Perovskite Module Project is signed! The Phase I plans to invest RMB 300mln. On July 14, Dazheng (Jiangsu) Micro Nano Technology Co., Ltd. signed a contract with the Haicang District Gov. of S China's Xiamen City and the Xiamen District Management Committee of Fujian Pilot Free Trade Zone on the 100-megawatt flexible (lightweight) perovskite module production base project. Known as the "Father of Perovskite", Professor Tsutomu Miyasaka, who was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2017, attended the event.
