1. According to China's National Bureau of Statistics on Tuesday, in 2023H1, the output of new energy vehicles in China increased by 35% YoY; The output of lithium-ion power batteries increased by 46.4% YoY; The output of photovoltaic cells, wind turbines, and hydroelectric generators increased by 54.5%, 48.1%, and 32.3% year-on-year respectively.
2. China's First Hydrogen Energy Subway Work Vehicle rolled off the line in central China's Xiangyang, Hubei. The vehicle adopts a hydrogen fuel cell and lithium battery hybrid system, which can be refueled for 30 minutes at a time and run continuously for 32 hours. It can reduce carbon emissions by 225 tons in total throughout its life cycle.
3. NEVs can also have wireless power banks! China's 1st NEVs wireless charging system was launched on a 120-m testing road in Jilin, enabling driverless NEVs to run while being charged electromagnetically with the help of 5G+ network.
4. China Datang Corporation announced on Tuesday that in June 2023, the company and its subsidiaries completed power generation of 2.0834 million MWh, a year-on-year increase of 5.90% over 2022.
5. China Huadian Gorp., one of the five state-owned sole proprietorship power generation corporations, announced on Tuesday that in 2023H1, the company's installed power generation capacity exceeded 200 mln kW, and its power project approval was 33.61 mln kW, ranking NO.1 among the industry.
6. Aiko Solar has said that its net profit for the first half of 2023 will reach CNY 1.26 billion to CNY 1.4 billion, with shipments of solar cells and PV modules to hit 18.5 GW and 19 GW, respectively. The manufacturer said it expects more growth in the second half of the year.
7. Canadian Solar said that its majority-owned unit, CSI Solar Co., Ltd., has issued an additional 81,158,500 shares at CNY 11.10 per share, as part of an initial public offering. The subsidiary has raised a total of CNY 6.9 billion in gross proceeds from the IPO.
8. 115,000 tons of used power batteries have been recycled from Jan. to May 2023, exceeding the total amount of last year, according to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

Data disclosed by Cao Renxian, chairman of the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, at the 2023 Photovoltaic Industry Supply Chain Development Forum on Wednesday.
10. The world's 1st 16-MW offshore wind turbine in SE China's Fujian was successfully connected to the grid on Wednesday. With 123-meter-long blades, the wind turbine can generate 66 million kWh of electricity in a year, meeting the annual demand of 36,000 3-people households.
