1. Astronergy has entered into an agreement with the Wenzhou City government in Zhejiang province to construct an offshore floating PV farm near Wenzhou in the sea. The company's investment of CNY10 billion ($1.4 billion) will fuel the project. Commencing in 2024, the construction is strategically planned to unfold over three 2-year phases, with completion slated for 2030.
2. BYD will showcase six electric vehicles alongside a display of new technologies at the IAA23 in Munich from Sept. 5-10, it announced yesterday. The Chinese car giant will also hold the European premiere of its luxury sub-brand, Denza.

8. China's 1st 10,000-m scientific exploration well, Shendi Take-1, has been drilled over halfway through to a depth of 5,856 m in NW China's Tarim Basin. The well for gas, oil, and deep-earth study will hit a temp of 220℃ down bottom upon drilling to a further depth of 11,100 m.
9. For the fifth month in a row, module prices fell further by around 6% on average. The ongoing decline in prices has led to an overall average reduction of 25% across all module technologies since the start of the year.
