1. On Oct. 11, Gotion High-Tech announced that the company plans to invest in a lithium battery production line project in Illinois, USA. The company's wholly-owned subsidiary Gotion Inc. signed the REV TAX CREDIT AGREEMENT with the Illinois government. Illinois will provide tax subsidies for this project based on the previously passed REV subsidy bill that specifically subsidizes new energy and electric vehicle companies. The final investment amount and subsidy amount will be subject to the actual investment situation.
2. The cumulative power generation of Baihetan Hydropower Station on the Jinsha River exceeded 100 billion kWh, equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by about 82.4 million tons, ensuring the green economic development and electricity needs in the Yangtze River Delta regions, according to China Three Gorges Corporation on October 12.
3. Ford National Distribution Services Division will be merged into Changan Ford NEV, a new JV between Changan Auto and the Changan-Ford JV, with the latter's SVP Yang Dayong as GM, according to Yicai. Changan Ford NEV will also run Ford Mustang Mach-E's China business.

On Oct. 11, TCL Zhonghuan responded to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's inquiry regarding its ability to implement the 25GW N-type TOPCon high-efficiency solar cell Industry 4.0 smart factory project. TCL Zhonghuan stated that it has completed the construction and trial production of a 500MW N-type TOPCon high-efficiency battery demonstration line, and has cultivated a technical team of more than 230 people who can meet the needs of iterative development and large-scale mass production of N-type TOPCon high-efficiency solar cells.
5. 9. On Oct. 12, it was revealed that Tesla applied for a total of 836 patents from 2003 to 2022, while BYD applied for more than 13,000 patents during the same period. According to statistics from Patent Result, a Japanese patent investigation company, BYD's electric vehicle patents are 16 times that of Tesla's.
10. On Oct. 12, Guangdong Hydropower announced that it had signed an investment agreement for an electrochemical independent energy storage project in Burqin County, Xinjiang, with a scale of 200MW-800MWh and a total project investment of CNY 1.2 billion.
