1. Cherry Auto was Russia's second best-selling automaker and top Chinese car brand last year, after selling 118,950 vehicles in the country, achieving a market share of 11.2%, followed by GWM HAVAL, Geely Auto, and CHANGAN, according to auto analytics firm Autostat.
2. The BMW Group delivered 99,972 all-electric vehicles in the Chinese market in 2023, a year-on-year increase of more than 138%, the automaker has said. It also said that by the end of 2023, BMW's public charging network had access to more than 580,000 public charging piles across the country, covering more than 320 cities.
3. All 9 units of CDT's Duyang Phase I 54MW Wind Power Project have been put into operation in Guangxi. The project can provide approximately 120 GWh of green electricity per year, saving 47,000 tonnes of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 93,000 tonnes.
4. BYD and Grenergy Renovables have officially formed a strategic partnership agreement for a massive 1.1 GWh energy storage supply project for Oasis de Atacama in Chile. BYD will be providing Grenergy with a total of 2,136 units of MC Cube ESS Models, known for their safety, and high performance.

10. Chinese electric car-maker BYD has held talks with Brazil's Sigma Lithium over a possible supply agreement, joint venture or acquisition, the FT reported on Sunday. BYD met Sigma Chief Executive Ana Cabral Gardner in Sao Paulo last month, BYD's Brazilian chair, Alexandre Baldy, told the newspaper, but did not give details, according to Reuters citing a confidentiality agreement.
