1. Avatr cut the starting price of the Avatr11, its first model co-developed with Huawei, to CNY250,000 (USD34,784) and introduced other discounts and subsidies amid the price war, the premium smart EV brand under Chinese carmaker Changan Automobile said today.
2. One person was killed and 22 others were injured following an eatery explosion in north China's Hebei Province on Wednesday, local authorities said. The blast occurred at 7:54 a.m. Wednesday at a fried chicken shop in Yanjiao township in the city of Sanhe, according to the city's emergency management bureau. It is suspected to have been caused by a gas leak, the bureau said.

It's worth noting that the company's N-type battery shipments secured the top position in 2023.
