1. Zhong Baoshen, chairman of LONGi Green Energy, a leading Chinese photovoltaic (PV) products maker, said on Tuesday that he predicted the firm's sales to the European markets will continue to rise at a relatively fast pace this year, while expressing optimism over European market potential, despite the region seemingly sending signals over avoiding excessive reliance on Chinese-made solar panels.
2. According to Sungrow, it has unveiled a new power optimizer for applications in rooftop PV systems. It has a rated input power of 600 W, a maximum efficiency rating of 99.4%, and a weighted efficiency of 98.8%. It can accommodate up to 30 modules per string.

LONGi Green Energy issued an announcement stating that the company has realized the crystalline silicon-perovskite stack on the commercial-grade suede CZ silicon wafer according to the authoritative certification report of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Germany. Layer cell conversion efficiency of 31.8%. This efficiency created the record of the top three in the world and the first in China.
4. Chinese researchers have used metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) to produce a 12 cm2, five-junction solar cell with a minimal number of mismatch dislocations. The cell has an open-circuit voltage of 4.727 V, a short-circuit current density of 860 mA/m2, and a fill factor of 86.38%.
5. Boasting the smallest diameter of 914 mm among its kind in China, a homegrown direct pipe laying equipment rolled off the production line in China's Changsha. The machine combining tunnel boring and pipe laying will help the construction of a natural gas pipeline in Thailand.

8. Recently, the onshore wind power project with the largest single capacity in China, the 1.75 million kilowatt wind power project of Gansu Guazhou Baofeng Wind Energy Development Co., Ltd., successfully completed hoisting, and a total of 333 Goldwind GWH191-5.27MW wind turbines were installed.
9. On May 22, China Energy and Sinochem signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides will cooperate in fields such as new energy, low-carbon chemical industrial parks.
10. According to Tongwei Solar, it launches new breakthrough TNC and THC modules dedicated to its "green production concept" at the 16th SNEC PV POWER EXPO held in Shanghai, China. Both new arrivals will enjoy higher power along with lower balance-of-system and levelized cost of energy.
