1. Nio will contact JAC Motors and not comment before that, after the latter said yesterday it plans to transfer some assets, including the two factories it owns with the Chinese NEV maker, through the public listing, National Business Daily reported today, citing a person familiar with the matter. Nio may consider acquiring the above plants, the person added.
2. Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, the most populous state in the US, announced he will begin a weeklong trip to China next week, focusing on climate action and partnership between two of the world's largest economies, People's Daily announced yesterday.
