1. Nio is receiving a cash injection of USD2.2 billion from Abu Dhabi investor CYVN Holdings through its affiliate CYVN Investments RSC in return for 294 million ordinary shares, the Chinese electric car startup said today, citing the deal signed by the two parties.
2. COSCO Shipping, Hong Kong's Orient Overseas International and Taipei-based Evergreen Marine will no longer transport cargo through the Red Sea due to tensions in the key route that links Europe, Asia and Africa, The Paper reported.

7. The 1st unit of the largest pumped storage power plant in northeast China has officially started operation in Liaoning. The plant will be able to generate 3 bln kWh of electricity and cut 375,000t of CO2 emissions annually upon full operation of all its 6 units before Mar 2025.
8. Zhejiang Yinlun Machinery, a leading Chinese thermal management system maker, said it will become the designated supplier of auto air conditioner box units for a US electric vehicle maker. Yinlun's plant in Mexico will supply the auto air-con systems over the five-year project, with the deal likely worth USD41.8 million, the Taizhou-based firm announced late yesterday.
9. Li Chao, the spokesperson of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, announced today that they will focus on technological innovation, financial support, and other initiatives to efficiently recycle decommissioned wind power and photovoltaic equipment. This targeted approach aims to solve the problem of efficient recycling of these types of equipment.
10. The world's largest single-unit offshore wind turbine successfully rolled off the production line in Shanwei, S China's Guangdong. With a wind rotor diameter of 260-292m, the turbine can generate 80 mln kWh of energy annually, equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 66,000 tons.
