1. The 9-mln-kW Tianwan Nuclear Power plant, with the world's largest installed capacity, has delivered over 400 bln kWh of Clean Power as of Sunday in E China's Jiangsu. The power plant will be able to send 70 billion kWh of electricity a year after the completion of its last 2 units.
2. Weighing over 30,000 tonnes, China's first intelligent offshore drilling platform "Huizhou 26-6" was installed on Friday, according to the project team of the China National Offshore Oil Corporation in south China's Guangdong Province.
3. Polestar, a Swedish EV maker owned by Volvo and its parent firm China's Geely, received a notice from Nasdaq for not meeting the US stock exchange's minimal listing requirement after the company failed to file its annual financial report on time.

Oil prices rose in early Asian trading on Monday, adding to last week's gains as rescuers searched for Iran's president after a helicopter crash in the oil-producing nation and after the U.S. bought crude to help refill the national stockpile. Brent rose 26 cents, or 0.3% to $84.24 a barrel by 0049 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude (WTI) gained 15 cents, or 0.2% to $80.21 a barrel.
5. China's commerce ministry on Sunday launched an anti-dumping probe into POM copolymers, a type of engineering plastic, imported from the European Union, United States, Japan and Taiwan. The plastics can partially replace metals such as copper and zinc and have various applications including in auto parts, electronics, and medical equipment, the ministry said in a statement. The investigation should be completed in a year but could be extended for six months, it said.
6. China's largest offshore PV power plant started construction Sunday in east China's Jiangsu. The 200-MW project consisting of over 3.3 mln offshore PV modules and a 400-MWh onshore energy storage will generate 2.234 billion kWh of clean electricity annually upon completion.
7. China's new green energy products have had a significant positive impact on the lives of many Africans, despite Western criticism of China's growing green industry production capacity, according to Xinhua News citing a Zimbabwean economist.
8. Chinese carmaker SAIC Motor Corp and Audi, the premium car brand of Germany's Volkswagen, have officially signed a cooperation agreement to jointly develop several high-end smart electric vehicles for their joint venture SAIC Audi, as well as to jointly develop the Advanced Digitized Platform, according to a statement from the Chinese automaker today.
9. China's imports of fuel oil rose 10% in April from a year earlier to 2.93 million metric tons, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Monday, the highest level since at least 2020 according to Reuters' records. The April imports, which equate to about 620,180 barrels per day, were 48% higher than in March, as traders brought in more shipments from Venezuela and Iran, according to trading sources familiar with the transactions.
10. NIO has 800 battery swap stations along expressways in China, the Chinese new energy vehicle startup said today. With 2,420 power stations and 22,500 charging piles, NIO has become China's EV brand with the most stations and piles.
