1. China's 1st full-industry-chain offshore wind power industrial park is busy producing 18-MW offshore wind turbines in Fuqing, SE China's Fujian. The industrial park, with a total investment of 4 bln yuan (about $557.7 mln), is a boost to the country's offshore wind power sector.
2. A new China-built anode plant for electric vehicle batteries was inaugurated in Kendal, Indonesia on Wednesday, expected to boost the Southeast Asian country's EV industry. The facility currently has an annual production capacity of 80,000 tonnes a year.
3. China's MingYang Smart Energy, Italian energy firm Renexia and Italy's industry ministry have signed an agreement to set up a wind turbine manufacturing plant, the ministry said on Thursday. The deal envisages an investment of around 500 million euros ($546 million), the ministry said in a statement, without clarifying how the cost would be shared.

6. China's new energy vehicle penetration reached 51.1% in July, surpassing traditional fuel cars for the first time, according to the China Passenger Car Association.
7. Shanghai aims to achieve 100% clean energy for citywide buses and taxis by the end of 2027, meanwhile upgrading or adding 50,000 trucks, 200 airplanes, and over 120 ships to create a green, digital, and smart transport sector, according to a city work plan.
8. Hozon Auto opened its R&D center in Hong Kong today, the Chinese NEV brand under Hozon Auto announced. The center will focus on core technologies, such as intelligent driving, multilingual voice interaction, and AI models.
9. SAIC Group-backed MG Motor said it plans to set up a hub consisting of an EV factory and an R&D center in Mexico to extend its presence in Latin American countries and introduce its premium brand IM to the Mexican market.
10. China's machinery industry performed well in the first half of the year (H1), while its intelligent and green initiatives gained traction, the China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) said on Wednesday.
