1. The Fuling shale gas field in SW China's Chongqing has put into operation 33 new wells in Q1 2024, up 50% from the previous year. The gas field has produced 1.819 billion cubic meters of gas during the period, of which 1.745 billion cubic meters were sold, said the developer.
2. The first made-in-China LNG carrier, Dapeng Sun, was delivered in East China's Shanghai on April 3, 2008. The ship, measuring 292 meters in length and 43.35 meters in width, has a load capacity of 147,000 cubic meters.
3. East China's Jiangsu Province has seen its exports of the tech-intensive green trio -- lithium-ion batteries, photovoltaic products, and new energy vehicles(NEVs) -- account for 18.4% of the country's total, ranking first nationwide, local authorities said Tuesday.
4. China's used car transactions rose 6.8% to 2.89 million in the first two months of the year from a year earlier, despite the figure for February dropping 18%, data from the China Automobile Dealers Association showed. Among them, 154,200 were NEVs, up 83% in the period.

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand of Chinese automaker Geely, has restarted stalled plans to raise up to $500 million in a New York initial public offering (IPO), according to two sources with direct knowledge of the matter. The company in November put listing plans to raise about $500 million on hold because of a mismatch in valuation expectations between investors and the company, Reuters reported then citing sources.
7. Astronergy has secured a significant portion of China National Petroleum Corp.'s centralized purchasing order for N-type PV modules for 2024, winning a 15% share, equivalent to 1,050 MW. The order is for its ASTRO N-Series modules, featuring the company's TOPCon 4.0 cell technology.
8. A Chinese team developed a hydrogen hybrid power system that can extend the endurance of industrial drones to two hours. The system, which combines a hydrogen fuel cell and lithium battery, has a power density of 600 Wh/kg and can work at a temperature range from -20℃ to 40℃.
