1. The ±800-kV UHVDC power transmission project, stretching from SW China's Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture to E China's Suzhou, has become the country's first such project to deliver over 400 billion kWh of electricity, equivalent to cutting CO2 emissions by 320 million tonnes.
2. Shares in Xiong An New Power Technology, Sichuan Shudao Equipment and Technology and other Chinese hydrogen energy firms surged today after the government of the southwestern province of Sichuan said it will look into exempting hydrogen-powered vehicles from paying toll fees on expressways, Sichuan Daily reported.

5. China's new energy vehicle brand, Voyah, debuted in the Italian market with a brand launch in Milan on Tuesday. Voyah is a brand of China's Dongfeng Motor Corporation, headquartered in central China's Hubei Province. It introduced the Voyah Free SUV, Voyah Dreamer Multi-Purpose Vehicle, and Voyah Zhuiguang Sedan at the event during the world-famous Milan Design Week.

Chinese vehicle manufacturer Changan Automobile and automated equipment supplier Miracle Automation Engineering are linking arms on battery recycling and resource utilization with the aim of becoming a leader in the field in SW China. Their work focused on outlining the numerical modelling of a four-module floating array and six alternative mooring systems.
