1. The phase-III of China's first nuclear heating project started operation Saturday in E China's Shandong. The 3rd phase project providing winter heating for 2 cities is expected to replace 230,000 tonnes of raw coal consumption and reduce CO2 emissions by 420,000 tonnes.
2. During the upcoming COP28 climate conference, China and the US will hold a "methane and non-carbon dioxide greenhouse gas summit" with the UAE chair, to which other countries are invited to participate. The two sides will actively participate in the first global inventory of the Paris Agreement and work with other parties to promote positive and pragmatic results at the conference, Xia Yingxian, director of the Department of Climate Change under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, told the media on Monday.
3. Aito, the EV brand under the Huawei-Seres cooperation, received over 100,000 preorders for its new SUV M7, Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, said on WeChat Moment yesterday. "It only took two and a half months, what a miracle of the auto industry," he said.
4. Chinese automaker Changan Automobile announced Monday that its Thailand BEV production base will begin production in the first quarter of 2025. By 2030, Changan plans to launch 15 new BEV products in Thailand.

8. Huawei held its Luxeed S7 Press Conference today. Huawei demonstrated the unmanned driving valet parking function of the Luxeed S7. The Luxeed S7 is the only mechanical parking assist for parking in extremely narrow parking spaces.
9. On Nov. 28, Tesla announced that it is opening up its charging network in mainland China to more non-Tesla vehicles. The upgrade will allow more non-Tesla vehicles to use Tesla's home charging products, destination charging stations, and Superchargers.
10. Aito, the EV brand under the Huawei-Seres cooperation, has received over 33,000 preorders for its new full-size SUV M9, the Chinese telecoms giant said on Weibo today. The M9, priced from CNY500,000 (USD70,475), started presale bookings in April and will be released next month.
